Coolant Temperature reaching high temperatures and cooling fan on high?

It sounds like you may have a blown head gasket or an obstruction on the inside or outside of the radiator. Here is a guide to help you test the head gasket, you can rent a test kit from an auto parts store for cheap:

Also, try to look inside and outside the radiator, I have seen mud and hair get stuck on the cooling fins (outer) and corrosion on the inside clogging the cooling tubes.

I flushed the radiator and block with fresh water and then filled each area up with coolant and installed a 2nd new thermostat. After getting everything back together I ran the engine topping off the coolant levels to purge the system for air and since haven't had any coolant loss, no sign of coolant in the oil, no smell of coolant from the exhaust would there still be a chance of a blown head gasket. Also, I have heard people with similar issues having to go back to an OEM Ford thermostat the one I have is aftermarket produced by Murray but is still own temperature??? When I flushed the radiator and lines it was running clear water no gunk or anything. All these symptoms started after I changed the original water pump and thermostat. Also had someone say a possibility of it being A/C related and had my while A/C system vacuumed and refilled. Before it seemed, the high fans were only kicking on when the A/C was on but that is not the situation now. High fans are kicking on and the temperature is rising to 220-230 range.

Yes, I would would say the water pump and thermostat are the problem, I would remove them both and install OEM parts only. You can check Rockauto.com they have what you need.
