Coolant problems

How do you bleed the coolant system on this car? I have filled it with coolant. temperature gauge is doing fine but after long time of driving it will spike. so I am wondering if either the thermostat is stuck if there is air in the system, because I did do a coolant flush recently.

There is a bleed valve on the heater line near the expansion tank. You open that, fill the system through the engine fill. Then start the engine and turn the heat up to ninety degrees. When you get a steady stream of coolant out of the bleeder with the engine at an idle, close the valve.
Let the engine idle for five to seven minutes while you keep the coolant at the cold fill max level in the tank. Now open the bleeder to purge any air still in the system. Now run the engine at 2000 to 2500 rpm until the heater is blowing out hot air. Now drop back to idle and make sure it is still putting out hot air.

It does not hurt to pop the bleeder open again to be sure all of the air is out. Plus be sure to top up the tank if it is below the cold max line.
