Coolant leaking out of weep hole on bottom radiator housing

First you said, "radiator", then you said, "thermostat housing". Are you referring to the petcock in the radiator? Any chance you can post a photo of what is leaking?

It sounds like the hole to the left of the lower thermostat housing bolt. The one that is supposed to tell you if the water pump seal is failing. Staining and very minor leakage is "normal" for that engine. If you see a steady stream replace the pump, but check the block and the gasket, if the gasket fails between the impeller housing and the weep passage you get a leak as well.

My apologies with the title. It was leaking from lower thermostat housing out of the weep hole. You are correct Steve, I have had the pretty much the whole cooling system replaced and did the water pump twice with in two week period in case the first one was possibly a faulty part. Is there anything else besides the water pump that will let fluid pass through that weep hole?

Sorry, the water pump is the only thing that connects to it. A little seepage from there is normal, but if you get a steady stream the seal in the pump is leaking. There is a second weep hole that dumps into the engine valley and leaks out the back of the engine as well.

I am going to bring back my Advanced Auto water pump and get one from the dealer I will let you know what happens. Thank you.
