Coolant leaking

I just had a mechanic shop put in a new water pump. Now my coolant is leaking from the passenger side, under the engine. Also the car is still sounding rough, I took it back to the same mechanics and they claim that they don’t know where the leak is coming from. The rough noise I still hear is something to do with the automatic steering. What the heck?

Coolant can be leaking from a few places. Here is a link to help locate and repair the leak:

If you are unable to locate the leak, you may have to pressurize the system to help find it. Here is a link that shows how to do that. You will need the correct tool needed, but most parts stores will lend it to you.

As far as the issue, since work was just done on the vehicle, I would demand they fix it. Now where it is coming from is to be determined. There are several hoses, clamps, and o-rings that can cause a leak. I attached a picture for you to see. I circled number 3. That is pointing to the water pump, which is on the passenger side. Everything else I circled carries coolant and can leak.

Because there are so many possible places for a leak, it really should be pressure tested. Otherwise, it will become a guessing game.
