I have a leak at my water outlet that I am going to replace myself. I know that I will have to flush the coolant before I remove the unit, but I was wondering if there is a certain process to removing the unit? I could not find anything else on how to replace it.

I assume this is the correct part(s) in pictures. make sure when filling to use 50/50 Dexcool and to open air bleed until fluid comes out when refilling.

Uh, he posted a picture showing you and said "water outlet" you assumed the lower radiator hose going to the water pump...

Hmm I always thought the water pump was the inlet...

Good morning,

The flow of the coolant is into the water pump, through the engine and exits out the top to back into the radiator for cooling.

Was that the correct part he identified?
