I have a coolant leak coming from the driver side of the engine. The first photo is from the top side. The second and third photo I removed the driver side wheel and zoomed in from up under the wheel well. I’m trying to figure out exactly where the leak is coming from. The red mark is where it is dripping down on the engine block. Your thoughts and assessment?

You bet, that was going to be my suggestion. I would remove the thermostat housing assembly to inspect the O ring seal they use to seal the coolant from leaking. Also, check the housing for cracks in the plastic. Please upload images of the failure when you get it apart so we can see the problem ;)

Are there any special instructions when installing the thermostat and housing? I bought the thermostat and housing and installed it, and it is leaking worse than what the previous one was.

Just a torque specs, did you clean the gasket surface, also did you see where the old gasket/housing failed?

The picture you sent was for a six cylinder. Mine is a four-cylinder. I took a chance and put blue RTV sealant on all three of the inlet/outlets of the new thermostat housing. It was one I bought from Amazon. I just now ran the engine for a good 30 minutes and no leaks!
