Coolant leak?

Hey Ken, I pulled off the front clip and I was able to get in there better and find out where the coolant leak is. I have attached a photo. It is this black piece that cracked. What is this piece that I need to replace?

This looks like the thermostat housing, here is how to change the part out which will fix the problem. Don't over tighten the mounting bolts.

80-inch pounds to tighten the bolts.

Hey Ken, are there any special procedures for refilling the coolant system?

I think I saw a video where a guy used a vacuum to suck all the air out before refilling it?

I would not hold vacuum on the cooling system, just fill it normally. The system has an air bled hose so no worries there. Remove the cap and start the engine and keep filling until the engine is hot, then install the reservoir cap. Fill until at the correct level.
