coolant leak

large amount of coolant leaking on passenger side. fix one leak and it shows up somewhere else. coolant dripping off timing chain now.

Yeah I do not like it when that happens. The best thing you can do is borrow a cooling system pressure tester from the parts store. Just hook that up to the radiator when the engine is cold, pump it up, and then look for the leak. Thanks for the help, but I was told the car is not worth fixing. my mechanic said it is like opening a can of worms. he replaced thermostat housing and thermostat then told me take it home and buy something else .

There must be more wrong than you know then. Because a cooling system leak is rarely so expensive that the car is not worth fixing.
