Hi 2CarPros. I have the car listed above, value edition that I recently purchased. The fans are not working for radiator and A/C. It was not overheating running at 200 degrees. But fan not coming on. I just replaced thermostat and coolant temperature sensor but that did not fix the problem. I also unhooked the fan and gave direct current to fan, and they came on. I have been trying to figure out what's wrong with it. I can't identify the correct relays for fans or fuses. Nothing in my owner's manual is correct for locations. The diagram for fuse box under hood is not the same. Also have not found a fan control module. How do I get my fans running again?

Hello,

There are 2 fuses which supply 12V to the fan motor.
See wiring diagram in image 1.
Fuse 8(10A) is located in the main engine fuse box, fuse panel B in wiring diagram.
See image 2.
Fuse 3(50/80A) is located in the back up fuse box, fuse panel A in the wiring diagram.
See image 3+4.
The back up fuse panel is located in front of the main fuse box on the left side of the engine compartment.

At the radiator fan connector, see image 5.
Pin 1, black wire constant 12V supply from fuse 3.
Pin 2, white/red wire ignition 12V from fuse 8.
Pin 3, yellow/violet wire control from ECM pin 28 connector T94.
Pin 4, brown wire ground.

Fuses, 12V supply, ground and wiring can be checked using a voltmeter.

Hi Boris, thank you for your help. Wire was bad going to fan connection. No voltage coming through. A/C fan not coming on though. It's winter almost so it's not a real problem. Thanks, Abelspassat
