Convertible roof not working

Hi,

Picked one of these up today. Knowingly the roof was not working. It beeps when you press the button but nothing else. Also the boot wont open without the key-not sure if this is related

Any ideas?

Also can i put the rood down manually? does anyone know?

Unfortunately, we don't have a manual on this vehicle because it is not offered here in the USA but we do have the sister vehicle which is the eclipse. Clearly I am not sure the wiring is the same but the idea is the same of the issue.

We need to go to the motor and find out if there is power. More then likely your motor is the issue. So the fact that it responds to the button shows that the control module and switch are working.

However, when nothing happens that would cause me to go directly to the motor and check for power.
