My car was built 09/2000. I changed the lower control arms back in September. They are now creaking, and the passenger side ball joint boot has ripped. Creaking is getting worse. I know it's the arms. However, I learned that there are two versions of this car, built before and after 03/2001. Mine is before. I can't seem to find any control arms for my version. What is the difference between the two models and why don't my arms "fit"? Any help would be appreciated. I need to change these arms ASAP. I no longer have the old ones. I was hoping I could just change the ball joints. That could save a lot of money. Thanks in advance.
