I was talking to you guys a while ago and you gave me some good info. I replaced many bad wires and put in a new temp sensor. The car is now drivable but the IACV was still at 12 volts so I put in a refurbished Cardone ECM . This didn't help the IACV problem so I put some resistance in the line and that brought the idle speed down to 1100 with the AC off and the trans in Park.
A new problem now is that the shift points are a lot higher than they should be.

you need to return to the way it was the resistance is causing that. try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner and look for a vacuum leak to fix high idle
