Where is the computer located?

Hi,

I suspect this is a 4-cylinder vehicle and not the V6. If that is incorrect. Let me know.

If it is the 4-cylinder, the ECM is located right in front of the brake master cylinder under the hood. I attached two pics below.

For some reason it's not firing, what could cause that? Also, the scan says the camshaft sensor is a circuit low, what does that mean?

I didn't see know reply what's making my car not firing also what does it mean when the camshaft sensor has low circuit.

If there is an issue with the crankshaft position sensor, that will prevent it from starting. It could be the sensor itself that has failed or a connection issue.

I need to know if this is a 4- or 6-cylinder engine.

As far as the low circuit is concerned, that indicates there is excessive resistance in the circuit. Basically, there isn't enough power making it through it.

It's a 4 cylinder 2.4 liter.

Hi,

The sensor is at the rear of the engine. I attached two pics below to help you locate it.

Inspect the connector to make sure it is tight. Remove it and inspect the connector pins for corrosion or damage.

Also, inspect the wiring around it to see if there is any damage. If everything is good, I would likely replace it.
