Compressor pulley was making a loud noise and the front plate came off

How do I replace the pulley itself and do I have to take out the whole compressor to replace this and if so what do I have to take out just to get to this?

I have to be honest, it isn't a five minute job. You don't have to remove the compressor, but it will be tight to complete.

I attached several pics below. Within the pics are the directions for both removal and replacement of the pulley. They aren't what I would consider specific enough, but this is what they offer us.
