Compressor makes loud noise

The wire coming from the compressor the I put power. To it and clutch started turning
I spent the day looking for the Location for relay... The location wire diagram


When am driving when reach 2,500 rpm's if try go over it’s like a loud noise is come from the engine.
What you think that can be?

The Nissan engine is a 3.5L.

Hi,

Is the noise a squealing sound? Could it be the belt on the compressor? Also, is it loud enough for you to record and upload for me to hear?

As far as the relay, the compressor relay or A/C relay is located in the IPDM (intelligent power distribution module) and is not serviceable.

Have you checked fuses?

It like you horse the but it not going as fast as you push the gas Pedal..p1148 mean anything to you?


So today I had a test a fuse was so I change that and now I have on the console but it is not turning on the compressor but if I put power to the wire on the compressor it engages.

Can you draw on the diagram to show where that compressor wire goes?

Hi,

As far as the code, P1148 is displayed with another DTC for air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1. What that means is there should be another code along with it. The code deals with a fuel ratio related problem. (too much fuel or too lean). See pic 1 below.

Pic two shows how the wiring to the compressor clutch comes from the relay. The relay on this is part of a printed circuit board and not serviceable. Make sure the fuse for the relay is good and has power. (fuse 79)

Also, if the Freon level/pressure is low enough, the low pressure switch will prevent the compressor from operating. Are you sure that isn't an issue?
