Compass not working properly

My compass keeps trying to calibrate. I have followed all the instructions in the manual to try and fix. How important is the compass to the operation of the vehicle and do I have to have it fixed immediately?

To start, the compass is for your information only. It in no way effects the operation of the vehicle other then possibly the navigation system if you have one.

I attached the calibration process just to make sure we are performing the same process.

If you are then the testing process is attached as well. This will determine what the issue is if you want to fix it. Again, if it doesn't bother you then I would just leave it alone.
