Column gear shift stuck in park

I have replaced the brake switch already no difference. I'm not sure if there is a sensor that's attached to brake system.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

There is a shift lock actuator at the bottom of the steering column. I need you to check it for power. It should have 12v all the time until the brake is applied. At that point, the solenoid is released and you should be able to shift.

I attached the best pic I could find of the actuator. I am assuming that the brake lights are working. Check this for power to see what you find.
