collision, front end damaged electrical harness

Hi,

It is possible but I am not finding this exact harness that would require to remove the engine. However, this is the reason that the OEM came out with the TSB attached. They are stating that you can just replace the connectors rather than replacing the entire harnesses. Note the first part of the TSB.

I would suggest showing this to the garage and see if they can replace just the connector.

Thank you KaseKenny1, I'm asking because the first shop, who was paid by my insurance company for the replacement, just taped it up and of course it broke down several times. The latest shop told me they never replaced half of the parts they were paid to replace. now I face an $8,299.00 bill which I have to pay out of pocket.

Wow. That sounds like I would consult an attorney. Also make sure your insurance company knows this is what they did. Technically, this should be between the insurance company and the first repair shop because they paid them to do a job and if they did not and took the money any way, that is called fraud. Clearly, I am a complete outsider and only have this info to go on but if it were me, I would have the insurance company all over this shop. What I would ask them to do is pay for another shop to fix it right and then the insurance company can go after the other shop to get their money back. They do that all the time.
