Cold transmission temperature?

My trans temperature light is on and no OD until vehicle warms up. The chassis and engine is 1998. The transmission is out of 2003 Durango. Truck has 3 wires to trans. Trans has 5 wire plug. I understand the temp sensor for 98 is near cooler/ radiator and 03 is in trans. If I knew where stuff was, I could sort out wiring. Thanks in advance.

The transmission temperature sensor is inside the transmission here is the location and the sensor wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and which wires go where. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
