Coil spring and shock assembly installation issue?

Trying to install rear passenger side coil spring assembly it has two dowel pins on each side but on the ones on the bottom one of them will not line up it is the same part as the old one does anyone have any experience on this. Thank you

It sounds like you may have the wrong part. Can you please upload an image of the problem? Here is an expanded view of the strut assembly and how to replace the rear struts and coils. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response to the problem so we can see what's going on.
