Shock loose from its compartment on rear driver side?

Hi Ken. Did you see the image I posted? Why is the coil exposed like that? It's fine on the right side.

This is the first image I have seen on this post. The coil spring is supposed to be exposed like this, there is no cover. I would have a helper push down on the bumper while you observe the rear suspension to see if something looks off. You can upload a short video of the problem so I can see it to help you fix it.
