Hello,
I went to have my vehicle scanned because of my "Engine" light. It appears I have 2 codes P0136 and P0141. P0141 says check the circuit fuse. Unfortunately I do not know where that fuse is located. I know where the box is located, but I do not have a diagram.. P0136 says vehicle is running very rich or lean. Either way my fuel is disappearing very fast and gas is too high.. Is there a way to fix this problem..

PS. I know there other explanations for the problems. I just used one example for each.

Thank you

136 says nothing about a fuse. dont know where you got your info from but re check it.

Enter this pinpoint test only when directed here.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:

- Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) /Heater
- Fuel Injector(s)
- HO2S Connections
- Harness Circuits: HO2S GND, HO2S, INJ 1-8, VPWR and SIG RTN
- Vacuum Systems
- Powertrain Control Module

CAUTION: Probing or piercing wiring insulation is not permitted and may allow water entry, causing corrosion and shorting which may result in HO2S failure.

basicly the same thing but the heaters are causing the codes and need to check wiring and the o2 sensors themselves

P0136 02 sensor circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2)
P0141 02 sensor heater malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2)
The code you have are catalytic monitors, These 02 sensor monitors the catalytic efficiency, There is no fuse, When you receive these code depending on the scan tool you used it should have a accompanied code with it . If it does not appear it is because its been suspended. Ford uses a KOER (key on engine running) test for pulling codes, This is mainly what you should do, There is a definite reason why you are consuming a lot of fuel.
