Code u1000 causing active handling and ride control to code up

This has been an on going problem for month; the ABS and suspension control modules and under hood fuse panel have been replaced. The last thing that was done was additional ground wire was connected at ABS plug connector and all wire connectors at plug were adjusted and cleaned for proper connection. this lasted for 3 weeks. Then the same codes came back: c1232,c1234,c1241,c1242,c1287,c1295,u1000,(anti lock)
C0579,c05854,c0589,c0594,c0691,c0710,cb2795,(suspension control), b2723 transmission,pref. Switch circuit high, u1040,lost communication with brake /traction control system. as you can see this is a major open circuit but it is only drops out intermittently. Codes will not. Clear at all and the traction and ride control and active handling are coding but the 80 mph limit is not on.

Hello,

It sounds like the real time damping relay #41 in the under hood fuse panel is not working right. To be sure here is a guide to help test it and the electronic suspension wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works:

Thanks for information. Relay was good, codes are constant. I will ring out wires to relay, and check power wires to ABS module. Not sure were else to go from there. I will get back to you. thanks

I also have HVAC problem. A/C not cooling as good on driver side and both passenger and driver side. actuators have been replaced, the dash is off and they function as they should. I can see it work. where is the door for the driver side temperature and what diaphragm works it? pictures would be big help. factory book no help without scanner. i have A/C module on order but if that don’t fix it I’m lost. diagram would help. please reply.

This is a new problem which you will need to make a new post for we will stay on the u1000 problem on this thread. Please check the power and grounds for the suspension controller. This would be a good problem for a CAN scan which is the future of car repair check out this video.

Well have proper grounds and power to both suspension and ABS modules, ran attitudinal grounds on both and double checked reference voltage also. at this point I’m going to check rtd circuit for any problems.

My manual is for tech2 scanner and all I have is BlueDriver. if you have anything to give me parameters for both module it would be helpful when ringing out wires. so I would have something to bounce the numbers off of. at this point I’m running out of options and this u1000 code is a hard to trace.

Yes it is because the module all talk to each other and we need to find the one that is not talking. CAN scan is our best bet.

Coded up b0466 which is temperature actuator. so now I just have to figure out how to get to it with the dash off it should not be to bad. got a clue where it’s at? need to do both sides. thanks
