my check engine light came on showing two codes one was po460 and the other was po700.I disconnected the battery cable for a moment and reconnected it and only code po700 was showing.Could something be wrong with a sensor?

P0460 - Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Malfunction

700 just means there's a code in the Transmission Computer. You need a scanner that can access that computer to read the code(s) in it. There could have been multiple transmission codes but some of that valuable information would have been lost by disconnecting the battery. You might want to drive the vehicle a little in case all the codes haven't set again. The goal isn't to erase them; it's to let the computer give you as much information as possible.
