Check engine light came on. Got code from O'Reilly's of po128. Told it was coolant sensor. Where is that located on my car? I have replaced thermostat sensor already.

I bought a thermostat and sensor at the same time. I replaced sensor and engine light went off. Did not feel it needed the thermostat replaced.

Here is a guide to show you what you are in for when doing the job and a diagram (below) to help you get the sensor replaced:

and if the code comes back I would replace the thermostat .

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I would be replacing the thermostat. I have had those Chrysler 200 set that code and it was a bad thermostat. The dealer had the thermostats on a two month back order. I had to get the thermostat on eBay.

Yes, make sure you block the rear tires so the car does not roll on you. Please post pictures of the job if you can.

Best, Ken
