code P0705 replaced transmission solenoid pack?

For a 2005 Jeep Liberty, P0705 (not P7050) is a common code, which stands for Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction (PRNDL Input). So this failure will make the transmission not work, did you clear the codes after the repair? Here is the location of the Transmission Range Sensor so we can be on the same page. Please check the electrical connector as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

checked the connector and everything is connected, gonna try to buy another qt of transmission fluid to see if that helps.

DId you replace the Transmission Range Sensor or recheck the installation ?

I replaced the solenoid pack, and the sensor seemed fine, and everything is hooked back up correctly.

Does it still have the P0705 code? Because this is for the gear range sensor.

it is code P0750 and P0700, this indicated Solenoid pack A, which is what I replaced, I added another qt of ATF+4 and it shifted into reverse a little easier but I still had to rev the RPMs to around 3K to get it to shift into any of the Drive gears. At no time did I get a P0705 error.

Sorry, I mistyped the error code, it was not P7050 but P0750, I did clear the codes in between in any case.

We have conflicting information, your scanner says shift solenoid, but the everywhere else I check the code is for the gear range sensor. Can you try a different scanner?

I used another scanner, the code its giving is also P0750 shift solenoid "a".

Okay, I see, this is a manufacturer code, I would take the unit back apart and check the filter to make sure it has not fallen out and is laying in the pan. If not, it sounds like the front fluid pump has gone out and the transmission needs to be rebuilt. You are getting the shift solenoid code because there is no or little fluid pressure to help the solenoid operate. You can do a line pressure test to confirm. It could also be the pressure regulating solenoid is not working correctly as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

How do you do a pressure test? I would like to try that first before having to tear everything apart again.

Normal Operating Ranges (in PSI):
Park/Neutral:

Idle: 55-65 PSI
Stall: 230-250 PSI
Reverse:

Idle: 75-90 PSI
Stall: 300-325 PSI
Drive (D) or Low (1):

Idle: 55-65 PSI
Stall: 210-230 PSI
