DTC code P1572 is brake pedal switch circuit malfunction.

I put a new one on. I know it has two, but will code P1572 cause it to run bad and shut off?

it is a brake switch problem, but it also goes to the PCM so check for a shorted wire it is orange/yellow wire pin 25 on PCM. also check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. and clean throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner.
