I was told the crankshaft sensor was behind the timing belt cover I am confused.
Also, what would the part number be?

Hello again.

No, it is not behind the timing belt. I have attached another picture of its location. The Kia factory part number is #393103C410. If not buying from the dealership you can have that part number cross-referenced at your local auto parts store to save a little money. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Is the crankshaft position in the valve cover? On the right side or left? I still do not see where it is at.

Hello again.

It is mounted on the left rear of the engine. I have attached the picture after enlarging it a bit. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

I have looked everywhere I cannot find the sensor. I jack the van up and looked both left and right of rear of the engine. The picture you sent me does not look like anything that I am looking at when you say left rear of the engine are we facing the front of the van or is our back to the front what is it near? I am so confused with all the conflicting answers I am getting.

None of them are helpful.
