My engine light came on, I took it to Kia dealership and they told me I had sludge build-up and that an oil change should do the trick.
I bought sea foam first and then did the oil change. Light was still on. Kia then said to try a flush and oil change. Light was still on, they told me I needed the light cleared, so I went back and they cleared the code. I turned the car off for about an hour and the light came back on. I had the code read again and it came back P0017, the same as before.
Kia then told me to try and clean those sensors and do another flush and that it could take a few hundred miles to clear.
Well, I only cleaned the 2 cam sensors and added a little bit of Marvel mystery oil and I've been driving coming up on 500 miles. The light is still on, but I'm not having any misfires or hesitations.
What else can I do?
