Car runs good but was wondering if it could be the gas cap or bad gas or if it is definitely the canister cause that’s $400.00 for that piece. car runs fine though no issues.

Hello,

The Code: P2402 - EVPA emission system leak detection pump control circuit high.

This could also be due to a bad leak detection pump or issue with the wiring.

I have attached the trouble shooting guide for the Code P2402 below.
Run thru this to figure out what is the actual issue. This way you are not just replacing part(s) and not getting the desired result.
