cmp intermitent interruption whit code 9-2

When driving the car fluctuates at 300 and when you turn off the car and on it will stop and repeat after most it can stay for the hole day before repeating the fault when I scan and clear the fault will go and come back

What DTC does the vehicle have? Do you mean to say the idle is fluctuating at 300 rpm's? I really don't think the car would be able to run at rpm's that low.

Ah, never mind that question about the DTC. I see in your post. Unplug the alternator and then clear the DTC form the computer. Run the vehicle for a little while and see if the code comes back. I've seen several of these vehicles with bad alternators cause this particular trouble code.
