clutch would not engage

my wife was driving and came to a light when she tried to let off the clutch and shift into gear the clutch would not engage. after sitting for a bit the clutch would engage.

check for low fluid in clutch master then bleed clutch system you can also use a power bleeder. see pic

thank you for the reply! The fluid was full and bled after further investigation found the culprit to be the slave cylinder sticking
