Pump a few times and okay for a few miles then drops to floor and have to lift and pump again. No loss of clutch fluid. Could it be an air leak or does slave cylinder need replacing inside gear box?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

It could be the slave or the clutch master cylinder. I have to be honest, leaks are the most common reasons for the slave to fail. On the master cylinder, the plunger may be failing and allowing fluid to bypass and require you to pump the clutch pedal.

Since the fluid is full, my first suspect is the clutch master cylinder. However, you may want to try bleeding the system first to make sure that is the issue.

Is the year you listed correct?

Let me know.

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. As JACOBANDNICKOLAS stated, is this the correct vehicle? In the USA market there is no manual transmission S80.00 that I know of? Can you provide a VIN # in a private message to profile the vehicle?

Not a problem. Let me know if you do need help. The clutch hydraulics are very similar on most vehicles.
