Clutch pedal goes to floor, stays on floor, but will start and drive in 2nd or even 3rd gear fine. No leakage at clutch master, fluid visable about half full. The slave is inside bell housing where the problem must be ?

Yes. More than likely the slave is leaking inside the bell housing. I would suggest just go ahead and pull it down and replace this. If you have not replaced the clutch in a while or ever, I would go ahead and do it all at the same time.

If there are no external leaks than this is leaking internally and needs replacing.

This sounds like the clutch disc is falling apart not allowing the clutch disc to spin "free" but to be sure let go over these videos and guide to help us fix the problem.
