I bought the car listed above with clutch problems. so i changed the master cylinder and previous owner said they had a new pressure plate put on about a year ago. Clutch did fine driving it from garage to my house but clutch started sticking when shifting gears not coming off the floor unless you pull it up yourself. It seems like the more you drive it the harder it gets to shift into gear or almost impossible. Last time i drove it to be looked at by time i got it to the garage it wouldn't go into any gear at all until finally getting it into reverse.

Good morning,

This sounds like the throw-out bearing. It contains and is part of the slave cylinder for the clutch.

The transmission must be removed to access this part as it is not handling the pressure as it should and the also is the reason for the pedal not returning.

At that time, it is good to replace the disc and the pressure plate as well.
