Hi

I am trying to remove the clutch cables from the BRACKET That holds them to the TRANSMISSION box.

The Transmission is still in the car so i am accessing the CLUTCH cables from the bonnet area, i have removed one but only because it the Clip that locks it into the Bracket has been bent.

Details: Driving car then couldnt change into any gears, took a look and everytime you change gear i could see one of the cables had come off the bracket (there is a smaller bracket that has black rubber on the inside of it that attaches to the main BRACKET) no srews or bolts hold it in place only the rubber that is glued on.

Can you tell me what tool to use to remove and replace the with, its more like a metal plate that sldes and locks the Clutch cable to the main bracket.

Any info would help

Cheers

We do not have that model in US but pics are from an eclipse and I would imagine they are same or similar. The clip has to be squeezed together it looks like then lifted.

Hi yes it looks just like that but it is a solid peace and cant be squeezed together, it has to be pulled, straight up with brute force. Thanks for the info
