Recently I've noticed when I push in the clutch the car will shut off. It is random most the time, other times its reoccurring. It is a 420a. all sensors have been replaced as far as the MAP, crank, cam, throttle body position, idle air control valve. I'm stumped. No codes either.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Since you replaced the aforementioned components, my first suspect is an engine vacuum leak. Here is a link that shows how that is done:

Start with that and let me know the results.

Okay, I'll give it a look. I've also replaced the PCV valve, and I've replaced all of the valve cover vacuum lines. Also you think it could possibly be a bad clutch switch? I'll keep you posted. Thank you

Welcome back:

The clutch switch is only utilized for starting purpose. It won't cause a stall.

Let me know what you find.

So I've checked out the vacuum lines and so far everything checks out. But there is something else I found. There was a small clamp on the fuel line right before the fuel rail. Does the stock 420a for the 1995 Eagle Talon come with a fuel pressure regulator? I'm going to get a pressure gauge for the fuel rail and see what its putting out.

Welcome back:
Yes it does have one. It should be on the fuel rail and have a vacuum hose going to it. Here is a link that shows in general how to check pressure and the regulator:

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,
Joe
