front sway bar bushings replacement instructions needed

Hello. The best I could do was to find the instructions on replacing the stabilizer bar, which includes steps removing and reinstalling the bushings. It's a fairly straightforward job to do, so I suspect that you can do it.

From what i'm seeing, figure it, this whole removal step of cross member isn't needed, can can easily access the four bolts themselves (bushing bolt}?

Yeah, I think you're right. I don't see why that cross member has to go anywhere for just the bushings.

well, with further investigation, found out my bushings aren't the only cause of the noise, my rear motor mount is rusted away. got new from Rock Auto on the way. We'll see after they installed what's what.

Thanks for checking in, still waiting for rock auto delivery, should be a relatively easy process once it arrives. but, should I need anything like pry bars? doing this on my dirt driveway, have all normal safety measures in place. wish me luck...lol

Hey guys, all's well and good. Got the mount changed with the normal busted knuckles. Wanted to change the sway bar bushings but can't even get good access to the bolts. My local mechanic will have to do it, the subframe needs to be loosened to do it. As always, thanks for being there.

That I have done, while i'm thinking about it, on this car it has the CVT Sealed transmission but i did a gasket and oil change on it and noticed the transmission has the same wet gasket area that oil pan did. Is there anything I can do as far as drain it, change the gasket and fill with CVT transmission fluid myself? Or is that not advised?
