Just to start my truck has a three in lift/level with 33's.

I have a clunk type noise as I reverse and steer. In the last year I have replaced both CV axles, UCAs, outer tie rods, sway bars, stabilizer bushings, rear Leafs, LCAs, and both front struts. I actually had to replace the Passenger side CV again about a month ago. After all this front end work you would think I would finally have a smooth ride but that's not the case. Besides the noticeable clunk as I turn, reverse, and park the truck.... There is vibration and overall shimmy at higher speeds. As well as excessive tire wear on two (right side tires). I have checked and found quite a bit of play in my center support (carrier) bearing and will be tearing down and replacing that as well as all 3 u joints this week. I'm at a loss as to what else to replace or check on this truck. I bought it with 90,000 miles on it and has never seemed to have a smooth feel when driven.

Hi,

Have you checked ball joints and if there is play in the control arms? See pic below. Also, is it loud enough for you to record and upload for me to hear? Do you ever hear it when you apply the brakes?

Let me know as much as you can. Also, I attached a pic below showing the parts I'm referring to. Let me know if they have been checked.

Take care,

Joe
