My husband replaced my faulty radio with an after market radio and when he was putting my dash back together we slightly bumped the stereo on the climate control area and the heater fan stopped blowing and none of the knobs or buttons work now. It appeared no power was getting to the area so we took it back apart checked the fuses and relays, but while there is no lights working on the AC/defrost buttons there are two small blue lights working on the inside of this control panel (these can't be seen unless dash is disassembled). There are also two wiring harnesses coming out of the back of the panel with many wires coming out of each so we were not sure which ones were relevant to the issue (if any). I just spent my savings on this car and now there's no heat and I cant afford to take it to a shop. My husband has some mechanical skills and can probably fix it if we can just find the source of problem. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you check voltage on applicable fuses? See the fuses right above blower relay, use a test light to check voltage at fuses, the fuse on the left, hot all the time. The fuse on the right should go hot with key on. You could unplug blower motor relay, use jumper wire between the two terminal sockets on the switch side of relay, left side in the picture, key on, HVAC on, blower speed on high, does the blower motor work?
Another thought, see the two wire blower motor connector, take it loose, use a test light between those two terminals, wire connector, itself, key on, HVAC on, does the test light come on? In the diagram at blower motor, top wire is voltage, bottom wire should be ground. Any HVAC trouble codes?

Thank you for your reply. It is dark and started raining heavy here now. so we are going to try what you suggested in the morning and I will post and update. There are no trouble codes, he did check that. Someone suggested replacing the resistor but from what i have read if that was the issue it would work on some of the fan settings and i would probably still have lights working on my AC/defrost buttons? It is like there is no power to just the HVAC controls (lighter/power outlet works, radio works now, and hazard lights button still work). I was also looking for some kind of a wiring diagram to see which wires were ground to that area to eliminate a faulty ground being the issue, but i can seem to find one. I am going to check the repair guide link you mentioned now and see what i can find.

Can you upload a picture of the damage to the control head? Also, here are the complete wiring diagrams to the blower motor and a guide to help you test for power and ground:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
