Heater blowing cold air?

I changed my water outlet because it had a crack along the inside that was causing water to shoot everywhere and making my car run hot because the water was never getting to the engine. I am not a mechanic, but i couldn’t find anyone to do it for me and i had to get to work. Anyways, once i got the outlet back on and ran the car, the heat was working fine. I drove it down the road a little way and it sounded like boiling water under my hood. Which i knew were just air bubbles. At this point i had turned the heat off because it felt cool. Well, that was 2 days ago, i woke up this morning and my heater is not blowing warm at all. It is completely cold. And i have no clue what to do, help.

So, the cooling thermostat only goes in one way and if it is backwards then the engine will overheat and boil. Also, if the cooling system is low on coolant the heater will not work, here is how the thermostat is replaced so you can double check your work and then once checked start the engine up and allow to warm up so the thermostat opens so you can fill the cooling system completely. Apparently, there are two thermostats please check the images below. The red arrow shows the part that should be sticking out. Also, this guide can help as well:
