Climate control not working after disconnecting the battery?

After disconnecting battery the climate control won’t work fuses checked by auto technician all ok apparently.

Many thanks for this information have tried all options with no luck all fuses checked but now suspect it can only be the climate control unit that has blown because unit dead no lights etc. Would you think the same?

This can happen due to a voltage surge which can occur when the new battery was installed. Here is how to change the unit out, I would check eBay for a replacement part. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
