Clicking noise when turning right

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com. I first need to confirm this is a two wheel drive vehicle. Also, can you let me know if ball joints have been replaced? Also, have the brakes been checked? Is the clicking consistent with tire rotation or speed?

Hi, thank you for your help! The car is two wheel drive. I just had the brakes done including resurfacing the rotors a few months ago. I believe the ball joints were done when they fixed it the first time. Two weeks later it was happening again. They said it had to do with a faulty part. A week later it was doing the same thing. They completely replaced everything from the original fix on the third attempt. A week later I am back where I started. They have really been great about trying to fix it, I am just wondering if there is something being missed.
I really appreciate any thoughts or advice you may have.

Since they have done the work a few times, have they ever mentioned which component is the problem? Also, is the clicking tied in with the vehicle speed? In other words, does it speed up as the vehicle does?

The second time they just said a broken/faulty part. This last time, they said they redid everything. They did mention the wheel hub? It only happens when I turn right. I notice a slight difference from the start of a turn to completion. It just stops as soon as I straighten out, so there usually is not a lot of speed. It is pretty much the same every time I make a right turn. Sorry, I know this is not much to go on.

Hi again. It is no problem asking me questions, so do not worry about it. I have to be honest, when I originally asked if it was two wheel drive and you said yes, in my mind the wheel bearing is the only thing that would do that unless something was rubbing.

If it fails again, I would recommend asking them to use an original GM part. Honestly, the quality of some of the aftermarket parts we are getting from overseas is more than sub standard. Then on the other hand, some are great.

Let me know if you have more problems with the issue. The only other cause that I can think of other than a bad part is if they are under or over tightening the bearing.

Keep me in the loop if something other happens.
