clicking in the steering wheel again.

2010 Nissan rogue sl awd.

clicking noise from the steering column when turning all the time. cold weather makes it worse but you can hear it all the time. steering angle sensor assy has been replaced 2 times and the clicking will go away for a yr then come back.

See if any codes are set first, and get the steering checked out for any slack in steering shaft and all mechanical connections are ok, the sensor may be picking up a mechanical problem and it may not be the actual sensor.
