Did he tell you the arm needs to be replaced or just the bushing?

That is the thing, I can’t remember. He told me to take picture but I don’t remember what he said. smh

Call him back and ask him what he wants you to do. There does not seem to be any damage from what I see in the picture.

It would depend on which part. The arm looks okay, but the shock looks like it is covered in oil which may mean he was saying it needed replacement because it has leaked. Rotated the picture and circled the part. If this doesn't have the adjustable air ride suspension that shock isn't hard to replace, but I would replace both sides as they do change in damping as they age and a matched new pair is better than having a worn one and a new one. Changing them involves jacking up the Jeep, putting stands under the truck to hold it, remove the wheel/tires from both sides. Now remove the plastic trim in the wheel well so you can get to the upper mount. Remove the two bolts on top, then the lower one through the arm. The upper mount gets transferred to the new shock. Then you reverse the process to bolt the replacement in.
