1998 Citroen Xsara key barrel replacement

I am trying to replace key barrel with difficulty. It is 1998 citroen xsara with black grey & brown plastic switches on end of key barrel wire. I have looked at different suppliers and no one can match the exact wires eg black swith has 2 red wires whilst the brown & grey have black & brown wires. My question is can I put a similar key barrel in with black grey and brown switches with all of them having black and brown wires?
