1998 Citroen C1 engine

i'me assuming the key is working correctly ? at the rear of the ignition barrel where the wires connect to a plastic cap undo the clips to remove this cap from barrel .. you will find the centre of this cap is worn .. you need to replace this cap .. inside this cap is what turns on and off the ignition.. you need to solder a new cap to the existing wires in the correct order ?
