The thermostat start to heat up to the top after driving about 15 miles and I can smeal smoke and burning. I refilled the coolent but the problem is still there. Does this mean the engine is dying? Should I give up this car? How much it will cost to fix the problem?

have a technician check the vehicle .. there could be numerous reasons for the overheating ..
