2006 Chrysler Town and Country Makes noise when cold

Noises problem
2006 Chrysler Town and Country 6 cyl Automatic

When I statrt my T&C in the morning, It Idles loud and when I start driving, it makes sort of a grinding noise. After I drive for about 10 minutes it seems to go away. This has only been happening the past 2 and a half weeks. It beens very cold here.. Help I would appreciate any response as to what this could be. I can't afford to pay alot of money just to try and figre out the problem

I have been laid off and can't afford to make a donation at this time... So Sorry =(

Start by making sure that you have all fluids (engine oil, transmission, antifreeze, and power steering) are at the appropriate level. And make sure the antifreeze is at at least 50/50 coolant/water mixture.

It is also wise to let the engine warm up for a few minutes before actually driving the vehicle, if outside temp is lower than 40 degrees.

Thank you so much Zackman... It worked. We checked the fluids and the Power steering fluid was way low. So we added and all noises have stopped...... The sad thing is we just had the oil changed at the dealership and they supposedly did the 23 point check which should have included checking all fluids.... =(

Even though this is an old post I thought I would add my .02

I had my T&C 2006 serviced and I think there is a TSB out for power steering resevoir. If you continue to lose fluid, you might want to check into have the resevoir replaced.
