you can try to erase it with the scan tool, there is an engine code erase feature. also a check engine light can mean many things and sometimes a sensor could just be going bad and wont store in the computer, but I dont believe that is the case. try to erase it and keep me posted, or if you dont know how go to autozone, to have it erased, or you can go to your local parts place to do that. you could have a vacuum leak that will cause an engine light and not set a code
